About The Pixel Prompt

The Pixel Prompt is a local, model-aware visual prompt compressor that converts long AI prompts into optimized images for OpenAI, Claude and Gemini.

What we build

The Pixel Prompt converts long AI prompts into model-readable images so that vision-capable models process them as visual tokens instead of text tokens. The renderer, the token estimates and the fidelity analysis all run locally in your browser — your prompt text is never uploaded to our servers. Every export includes the original prompt as a companion .txt file, so nothing you compress is ever lost.

What we believe

Visual prompt compression is genuinely useful and genuinely lossy. We think the most valuable tool in this category is not the one that promises the biggest theoretical savings, but the one that tells you exactly when image prompting will save tokens, when it will fail, and what format to use for your chosen model — including telling you to keep your prompt as text when that's the right call.

That's why the homepage shows a per-prompt, per-model estimate instead of a universal percentage, why the tool warns about exact identifiers and unreadable microtext, and why our methodology is public.
